Breaking news! You should break a chair! You should break the news, and this is because Nintendo is getting rid of Nintendo gold points. You can still use the gold points you already have, but you won’t be getting any more after March 24th. This is tyranny, blasphemy, they’re charlatans, rapscallions, scamps,
and skutches. But in all seriousness, it was a nice feature to get some points for a purchase and then be able to use those points to discount a different purchase, as a cheap gator myself I was certainly glad for it, so it’s too bad they’re getting rid of them.
I assume they’re getting rid of it for two reasons, the switch two will be coming out soon, and because people already buy eshop games, we don’t really need an incentive anymore.
I’m still snappy about it though.
